Process automation for Irish SMEs

Cut what's not needed. Automate the rest.

I help small and medium businesses take the manual admin off their team's hands: invoicing, scheduling, chasing payments, and typing the same data into three systems. I find the cheapest fix that works, then build it.

Sound familiar?

Where the week goes

Quotes take days because they're built by hand.
The same order gets typed into three different systems.
Invoices go out late, and chasing payments is a part-time job.
Jobs are scheduled on a whiteboard, or in someone's head.
Every month-end, someone pulls numbers from four places into one spreadsheet.
Only one person knows how that process works.

None of this is your team's fault. It's the process they're stuck with.

The method

The cheapest fix that works

I start by understanding how your business actually runs. Then, for each process, I work down this list and stop at the first thing that fixes it.

  1. Cut it

A surprising amount of work exists only because it always has. The first question is whether you need to do it at all.

  2. Simplify it

Fewer steps, fewer hand-offs, and one place for the information.

  3. Use what you already have

Most businesses pay for tools that could do far more. Sometimes the fix is setting them up properly, or adding one off-the-shelf tool.

  4. Change the habit

Some fixes are a new routine, not new software.

  5. Build it

When it does need software, I build it: connecting your systems so information flows on its own, custom tools, and AI where documents and emails need reading.

Automating a broken process just gives you a faster mess. So the fix comes first.

How it works

Three steps, about an hour of your time

1

A 45-minute call

You walk me through how the business runs. I spend a little time seeing how the work actually gets done.

2

A plan within a week

Where your time is going, what to fix first, and exactly what each fix involves and costs.

3

Fix it

Act on it yourself, hand it to someone else, or I build it for you.

The plan

€999flat

Five hours a week is roughly €7,800 a year in staff time.

  • Credited in full against the work if you hire me to build it.
  • If the plan doesn't show a clear way to save your business at least 5 hours a week, you get your money back.
  • You know exactly what each fix costs before anything is built.

What you can count on

No lock-in, no black boxes

You own it

Everything I build is yours, including the code and the accounts.

Your team can run it

It's documented, and the people using it are trained.

Your data stays private

I'll tell you exactly where your data goes, and I'm happy to sign an NDA.

Straight answers

If you don't need me, or don't need software, I'll say so.

Zoltán Bende

Who you'll work with

Hi, I'm Zoltán

I'm a software developer based in Ballinteer, Dublin. For the last few years I've built software products as an engineer for companies in the US and Europe.

Bendeworks is where I put that to work for local businesses: sitting down with you, understanding how things actually run, and building what fixes it. You deal with me directly, from the first call to the finished fix.

Questions

Fair questions

Will this replace my staff?

It removes the drudgery, not the people. Your team gets back to the work you hired them for.

We don't have time for this.

That's usually the problem I'm fixing. You give me a 45-minute call and a little access; I do the rest.

Is this an AI thing?

Sometimes. AI is the last option on my list, not the first. Most fixes are simpler, and cheaper.

We tried software before and nobody used it.

That's often a broken process with software on top. I fix the process first, and sometimes the answer is no new software at all.

What size of business do you work with?

Owner-led businesses from about 5 to 250 people, in most industries. If your team spends hours a week on admin, we should talk.

If something in your business eats your week, let's talk.

A 45-minute call, no obligation. Tell me what drives you mad and I'll tell you honestly whether I can fix it.
